The Turks and Caicos Islands are a series of forty islands and cays in the Caribbean situated fairly close to one another, but only eight of them are inhabited.  Therefore you wouldn't really have a reason to ship anything to the other 32 islands.  All shipments are processed through their Customs department before being released for delivery, which all eight islands have services for, even if to a centralized location on the island.  It is a good idea to check with the end logistics of your shipment once it gets inside the country so you can prepare your recipient to travel if need be to a centralized hub to pick up their parcels. 

Shipping limitations to Turks & Caicos Islands

There are only about two dozen shipping limitations when shipping to the Turks and Caicos Islands.  These prohibited items include perfumes, poisons and powders, chemicals- hazardous or non hazardous, corrosives, gases, infectious substances and bearer documents, among other things.  It is best to check for the most current list of said items because they do change from time to time and you don't want to try and ship something there and then not be allowed and have it seized or returned to you.  You are allowed to send certain restricted items there, such as explosives or plant materials, but they must be from certain countries and have special permission to do so.  This special permission includes paying a fee and getting a permit to ship these items and having it on file with the Customs department.  Talk to your shipping company for guidance on how to obtain this is it applies to your shipment.
