Security concerns when shipping to Cambodia
There is quite a bit to be concerned about pertaining to security of your shipments when thinking of sending something to Cambodia. The political structure there is considered newly stable, meaning that there have been violent outbursts in the past. These violent happenings have targeted all sorts of people and facilities including foreign packages being shipped into the country and the companies that move them about. It is wise to check with your State department before shipping anything to Cambodia for an up to date report on their security threats so you know what to expect. Additionally, it would be wise to get some insurance on your goods that you are sending there so that you can be reimbursed if your parcels become damaged at any time in transit.
Required documents when shipping to Cambodia
The documents that you need to have with your shipment when sending something to Cambodia may vary a bit based on what exactly you are trying to ship. As a rule of thumb, you are going to need a Bill of Lading and a Certificate of Origin at a minimum. You should also have the original commercial invoice in your package, if applicable.
